Who stocks Loud Star in Queens right now

Loud Star does not sell to the public directly. Every bag and jar reaches a customer through a licensed dispensary. In Queens, Loud Star is on the shelf at one licensed store today:

Silk Road NYC is the first shelf, not the last. As more licensed New York dispensaries start carrying the line, they will be added to this page with their address and phone number, the same way. Until then, if your local licensed store does not have Loud Star, ask for it by name.

Flower: seven strains, in eighths and larger sizes

Every Loud Star strain comes in a 1/8 oz (3.5 g) bag, and most are also packed in a larger size. The flower is small batch, grown and packed in Sullivan County, New York, and sealed in a matte black, child-resistant, resealable mylar bag with a full New York label on the back. The notes below are the tasting notes printed on each bag.

• Sour Diesel: 3.5 g and 14 g. Sharp diesel fuel, sour lemon and skunk; the New York classic.
• Larry Bird Breath: 3.5 g and 28 g. Sweet cream and citrus zest over earthy, nutty gas.
• Jack Herer: 3.5 g, 14 g and 28 g. Pine, fresh lemon peel and cracked black pepper.
• Pineapple Super Silver Haze: 3.5 g and 14 g. Ripe pineapple, bright citrus, fresh pine and sweet incense.
• Sour Animal Cookies: 3.5 g and 14 g. Sour citrus zest over sweet cookie dough and earthy spice.
• Raspberry TartZ (LCG × Z): 3.5 g and 14 g. Tart raspberry and sweet wild berry with fuel underneath.
• Zour (Sour Diesel × Zkittlez): 3.5 g and 14 g. Diesel bite wrapped in tropical fruit and citrus zest.

Every size of a strain is the same flower; only the bag changes. Not every size is on the shelf at every moment, so if you want a 14 g or 28 g, ask the store whether it is in. All seven bags, front and back, are on the flower lineup page.

Cold cure live rosin: five 1 g jars

Loud Star live rosin is solventless: fresh-frozen flower washed in ice and water into hash, pressed with heat and pressure only, then rested cold until it turns creamy. The first drop is five flavors built on Ahti Genetics, each in a 1 g black glass jar that ships inside its own sealed mylar bag. The bag carries the full New York label and the lot number, so keep it with the jar.

• GMO: roasted garlic, savory mushroom, sweet onion and gas.
• ZK: Zkittlez; ripe berry, tropical fruit and tart citrus over a soft kush base.
• Derb Sherb Pria: tangy lime and sherbet cream on top, Chem fuel and spice underneath.

How to get to Silk Road NYC

The store is in downtown Jamaica, on the south side of Jamaica Ave, between Merrick Blvd and 168th St.

• F train: 169 St is the closest station, about a 7-minute walk.
• E, J or Z train: Jamaica Center–Parsons/Archer, the last stop on all three lines. Take the 160th St exit; it is about 11 minutes on foot from there.
• LIRR: Jamaica Station at Sutphin Blvd and Archer Ave, which is also the AirTrain stop for JFK. It is about 20 minutes on foot, or connect to a bus heading east on Jamaica Ave.
• Bus: several MTA routes run along Jamaica Ave through downtown Jamaica. Use the MTA trip planner for the stop nearest 168th St.

One rule for the walk: a licensed purchase happens inside a licensed store, at the counter, with an ID check. If someone near a station offers to take you to a "dispensary," or sells out of a bag on the street, that is not a licensed sale and it is not Loud Star.

How to check you are buying the real, licensed product

Four checks, in the order you will meet them:

• The store. Every licensed dispensary in New York must post the state's verification sign at the main entrance. Scan its QR code with your phone camera, or look the store up on the state's Buy Legal map or the Office of Cannabis Management's dispensary location verification list.
• The New York label. The back panel of every Loud Star bag names the licensee, QUIA AMO LLC, and license OCM-MICR-24-000061, with total THC and CBD for that lot, the ingredients, the required state warnings and the New York universal cannabis symbol. Each piece is explained in How to read a New York cannabis label.
• The Metrc Retail ID. Each Loud Star unit also carries a small seal label folded over the top of the bag, with its own QR code. That code is issued for that single unit by Metrc, New York's seed-to-sale tracking system. The state says scanning a Retail ID shows product details that do not fit on the package, including lab results and recall information. On a new bag, the seal should be intact; if it is not, ask the store before you leave.
• The lot number and the COA. The lot number is printed on the back panel. The QR code marked SCAN: THE RABBIT HOLE opens the rabbit hole, where the certificate of analysis from a New York licensed lab is posted for each lot. Match your lot number to its COA; it lists total THC and CBD and the contaminant panel results.

If any of those pieces are missing, it is not legal New York cannabis, whatever the bag says on the front.
